Enpixelate Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 12, 2026
Overview
Enpixelate is a photo and camera effects app. This policy explains what data the app uses and how it is handled.
Data You Provide
Enpixelate does not require account creation and does not collect profile information such as name, username, or password.
Permissions Used
- Camera: used to render live dither previews and capture images.
- Photos (read): used when you load photos or palette files from your library.
- Photos (add): used when you choose to save edited/captured results to your library.
On-Device Storage
Enpixelate stores certain preferences and custom palette data locally on your device (for example, tutorial state, post-capture preference, and saved palette library).
This local data is not sold and is not used for ad tracking.
Crash Reporting
Enpixelate uses Sentry for crash diagnostics to improve app stability. Crash reports may include technical diagnostic data such as device/app version, timestamps, error context, and stack traces.
Sentry data is used for troubleshooting and reliability, not for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Tracking and Advertising
Enpixelate does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not use data for cross-app tracking.
Data Retention and Control
- Crash diagnostic data sent to Sentry is retained only for a limited period based on project retention settings and is then deleted or aged out automatically.
- You can request deletion of crash-related personal data by emailing ben.kotis@icloud.com with details to help locate the report (for example: approximate date/time and device model).
- You can remove locally stored preferences/palettes by deleting the app.
- You can manage or withdraw camera/photo access anytime in iOS Settings.
Children’s Privacy
Enpixelate is not directed to children under 13, and no account-based personal profile collection is required for app use.
